How it works

PhotographTap Record and the camera is already open. Take as many as you need; originals go to your Photos too.
Say what you seeTap the mic, talk, tap again. The words are typed for you on the phone itself, so it works in a basement.
Tag and rateOne tap for the element and the defect, one tap for the status. Four colours, named by you or by a UK standard.
IssueA branded PDF and a single web page, with a summary, the most serious items first, a schedule and every photograph. Your name on it, nobody else's.

Reports your client reads

A cover in your colour with your logo. A summary page that says how many, how serious, and what to do first. A schedule of every record with its status, observation and action. Then each record with its photographs, numbered and captioned.

Expansion packs

A pack sets the app up for one kind of survey: the four statuses and what they mean, the tags you'll want, and the report wording. Pick one when you make a site. Or use your own tags; the app is just as happy.

Prices include VAT and are set by the App Store for your country. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in your App Store settings.

Questions

Does it really work with no signal?

Yes. Recording, dictation and transcription run on the phone. Recent iPhones transcribe on the device itself; older ones use Apple's speech service when a connection is available and keep the audio until then. Reports are built on the phone. You need a connection only to send.

Where is my data?

On your phone, and nowhere else, until you share a report or a site file. We don't run accounts or analytics and can't see your surveys. See the privacy notice.

Is the report "compliant"?

The report is yours. SurveyScribe records what you saw and lays it out well; it doesn't inspect, grade or sign off. Packs carry the statuses and wording of recognised UK scales so your report speaks the client's language, but the professional judgement, and the name on the cover, is yours.

Can my office finish the report?

Yes. Share the site file to your Mac, open it in SurveyScribe for Mac, edit, and issue from there. Branding travels with the file.
